Morne Trois Pitons means the mountain of three peaks and refers to a relatively young (in geological terms) pile of volcanic rubble with three spike-like map of oradea pinnacles that reach 4,672 feet within five miles of the ocean. The park that bears its name is not large compared to other sites around the world, but it encompasses a vast area of the island.
